My objective was to create a map to allow one to see the waterways and their conditions along the King County I-90 corridor.
My objective was to create a map to allow one to see how the various lands along the King County I-90 corridor are managed or distributed.
My objective was to create a map to allow one to see the mountain gradient along the King County I-90 corridor.
This map allows me to see that gradient of mountain elevation in relation to the I-90 corridor and neighboring hiking trails from a bird’s eye view.
These maps were made for my Environmental Science course where we made multiple trips to this region on both sides of the cascades to study and witness the change that occurs in many flora species and materials in the region. These maps are useful for this class because often times when you are in the I-90 corridor you imagine the topography rise as the Cascade Mountains grow toward the edge of King County. This series of maps allows one to gain a more comprehensive look on the King County side of I-90.
Data from the King County GIS center was used for this map.
